About Us
Communication for Development Foundation Uganda (CDFU) is a Ugandan-based Development Communications Non-Governmental Organisation established in 2002 to provide Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) services. We have over 20 years of experience designing and implementing high-quality SBC programmes focusing mainly on health and development: Health; Gender, Youth and Social Inclusion; Economic Empowerment; Human Rights, and Accountability. We envision “a transformed society where individuals take action to improve their lives.” We exist to design and deliver communication programs tailored toward sustainable development.
With a team of skilled experts in SBC; an in-house design unit for information, education, and communication (IEC) materials and job aids; an in-house radio drama development team and recording studio, CDFU has the capacity to operate as a “one-stop centre” for design and production of various communication products (print and electronic) and implementation and evaluation of SBC programmes.
