About CDFU

Communication for Development Foundation Uganda (CDFU) is a non-government organisation that provides development communication services aimed at influencing positive behaviours for the social development of men, women and children. CDFU’s mentorship and training program equips talented young Ugandan graduates with the skills and practical experience required to work, lead and contribute to development efforts. Through its Training and Mentorship program, CDFU aims at shaping and equipping youth with professional skills that will give them a competitive edge in the career world.

The Mentorship Program

The Program is recruiting university students and graduates seeking skills growth in this current competitive job market. The ideal candidates should have an educational background in counselling and guidance, Social work or community development, accounting. The Interns will benefit from intensive training and mentorship.


Each graduate trainee will contribute a sum of money towards the training. This amount will cater for training materials, trainer’s fee, refreshments and related costs.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidates should be willing to learn
  • All the Graduate Trainees should have completed university education
  • Be a citizen of Uganda
  • Demonstrate leadership experience or potential
  • Be innovative; open to new challenges and ideas
  • Be ready to commit to a placement for six months

Age: Between 21 and 30 years
