Ongoing Projects
PMI Evolve Project
Supports PMI and USAID missions with planning, implementing, and monitoring malaria vector control programs including IRS, ITN, and larval source management activities.
CDFU's Role: Leads implementation of all SBC activities in targeted IRS Districts, promoting positive health behaviors towards integrated malaria prevention and control.
I Decide - MBMF II Project
Addresses SRHR outcomes including low accessibility to youth-friendly services and adolescent pregnancy. Covers 6 districts: Lira, Lira City, Alebtong, Kole, Apac, and Kwania.
CDFU's Role: Works with religious and cultural leaders to transform practices. Supports access to inclusive Model School Health programs. Creates awareness on positive sexuality and healthy behaviors.
A Bold Step (Oluta Olw'Obuvumu)
30-month project enabling local and grassroot CSOs to contribute to improved adolescent SRHR outcomes. Targets 2 local CSOs, 11,171 adolescents, 3,623 parents/caregivers, 90 health workers, 122 VHTs, 40 cultural/religious leaders in Buyende and Kamuli districts.
CDFU's Role: Responsible for ensuring adolescent boys and girls have increased knowledge of SRHR and adopt positive attitudes towards prevention of adolescent pregnancies and SGBV.
Advancing Justice Programme in Uganda
Awareness to prevent entry into criminal justice system, psychosocial support to prisoners and families under the 'It Could Be You' Campaign. Five districts of Greater Bushenyi: Bushenyi, Buwehju, Sheema, Mitooma, and Rubirizi.
CDFU's Role: Creates awareness about role of LC courts and ADR mechanisms. Strengthens LC I courts. Improves perceptions towards the incarcerated in Bushenyi, Sheema and Rubirizi.

Building resilience, enhancing livelihoods, improving food security and nutrition in Karamoja. CDFU led SBCC interventions.

Five-year project to reduce malaria morbidity/mortality across 43 districts. CDFU designed and implemented SBCC interventions.

Four civic education projects targeting youth using Rock Point 256 with Listening and Action Platforms.

Five-year project to improve quality, availability and accessibility of health services in 35 districts.

Three-year project for Northern Uganda health services through facility, household and community mobilization.

Peace Building and Social Transformation
Addressing alcohol abuse, poverty, sexual networks, early marriages in conflict-affected regions via Kaloke drama.

Reduction of early pregnancy and GBV among 13-19 year olds in Lira and Alebtong.

Integrated nutrition, agriculture and livelihoods project in 15 districts. CDFU led SBCC activities.
